Find what sells again and again on eBay

Search what you sell and see eBay listings that have sold dozens or hundreds of units, how fast, and what you'd keep after eBay's fees. Stock you can sell more than once.

Sells again and again

eBay listings that have sold many units. Steady demand you could stock more than one of.

Units sold come from eBay's listing data and are lifetime totals; “about / month” spreads them over how long each listing has been up. These are asking prices, not sale prices, and past sales don't promise future ones. Popular branded items attract knock-offs: check a listing is genuine before you stock up on it.

Why repeat sellers matter

Most resale is one-of-a-kind: you find it, photograph it, list it, and it sells once. Stock you can sell over and over works differently. You do the research once, buy several, and list them together.

The hard part is knowing what has steady demand rather than one lucky sale. eBay shows how many units a multi-quantity listing has sold, and that's the signal this finder surfaces. Use it with your own judgement: check the seller, check that the item is genuine, and run your real cost through the calculator before you buy.

FAQ

Common questions

Where do the units-sold numbers come from?
From eBay's own listing data. For fixed-price listings with more than one available, eBay reports how many units that listing has sold. It's a lifetime total for the listing, so the finder spreads it over how long the listing has been up to show an approximate monthly pace.
Are these sale prices?
No. They're the prices the listings are asking right now. For a multi-quantity listing that keeps selling, the asking price is usually close to what buyers pay, but treat it as a guide, not a guarantee.
Does a high sold count mean I'll sell that many?
No. It shows there's steady demand. You'd be competing with the sellers already there, so their pace is the ceiling for what you could expect, not a promise.
How are the eBay fees worked out?
With eBay's standard rate for most categories: 13.6% of the sale plus $0.40 per order, or $0.30 on orders of $10 or less. Some categories have different rates, and eBay also takes its percentage of any shipping the buyer pays.
What about counterfeits?
Popular branded items attract knock-offs, sometimes at high volume. Check a listing and its seller carefully before you buy stock to match it.
How does Prelo help once I've bought stock?
Snap a photo and Prelo writes the eBay listing: title, description, item specifics and a suggested price. If you have several of the same thing, list them once on eBay with a quantity, and Prelo counts them down as they sell.
