eBay Orders in Prelo: What to Ship and How to Mark It Shipped

Something sold, and now it has to go out. This guide covers where Prelo shows your eBay orders, what the ship-by badges mean, and how to mark an order shipped with its tracking number. The shop in the video uses example data.

Where your orders are

When eBay orders are waiting, Home shows a card with how many are awaiting shipment, and a Ship Now button. The same page is in the sidebar under Orders → To ship. It's called Shipping and Orders.

There are three tabs: Awaiting Shipment, Shipped and All Orders. Orders come straight from eBay each time the page opens, and Refresh fetches them again. The bar at the top counts what's left to ship and how many need to go out today.

Ship-by badges

Each order shows the item, the total, who it's going to and the ship-by date, with the most urgent at the top. The badge says how close that date is: today, or soon.

Click an order to open it. Ship To has the buyer's address, and Order Details has the order date and the days left until the ship-by date.

Mark it shipped

Prelo doesn't sell shipping labels. Buy Label on eBay opens the order on eBay, where you buy and print the label.

Once it's packed, press Mark as Shipped:

1. Type the tracking number, letters and numbers only. Spaces and dashes aren't accepted.
2. Choose the carrier: USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL.
3. Optionally turn on Send message to buyer. The template fills in the tracking number, carrier, the buyer's eBay username and the item title, and Preview shows how it reads.
4. Press Confirm.

Prelo sends the tracking number and carrier to eBay for that order, so eBay shows it as shipped too. You'll see Order shipped, with the tracking number and whether the message went.

You set the default note wording, and whether it's on, in Settings → Shipping → Buyer Messaging.

After shipping

The order moves to the Shipped tab, and All Orders lists both. If something still shows under Awaiting Shipment after you shipped it on eBay, press Refresh: the list always comes from eBay.
