Organize Your eBay Inventory in Prelo: Tabs, Filters and Collections
Once you have a few dozen items, the question is where they are. A tour of My Items: the tabs and counts, card badges, filters, bulk actions, merging, the photo organizer, and collections.
Once you've got a few dozen items, the question changes from how do I list this to where is it. This guide covers how My Items is laid out and the tools for keeping it in order. The shop in the video uses example data.
The tabs
At the top are four counts: total, needs AI, analysed and active. Then the tabs:
- Active: what's live.
- Ready: analysed drafts that aren't live yet.
- New: photos the AI hasn't seen.
- Sold: what's sold.
- All: everything.
If you cross-list, each marketplace you use gets its own tab too, with every item that's on it.
Reading a card
Each card shows the photo, the status, the price, where it's listed and the date it was added. Imported means it came in from your eBay store, and Catalog means it's matched to eBay's catalog. With Warehouse, a Pro feature, the item's shelf location shows too.
Filters and pages
Filter by source: everything, created in Prelo, or imported from eBay. Imported items get a second filter, refreshed or not, for when you've rewritten their descriptions with AI. Long lists come in pages of 25, 50 or 100.
Act on several
Tick items to select them. Shift-click selects a range, and Select all matching reaches across every page. Then publish, refresh descriptions, cross-list, merge or delete them. Delete always skips anything that's live.
Merge is for two items that are really one: the photos move into the first item you picked, and the others are removed.
Organize photos
The Organize button opens every item's photos on one page. Search for an item, then drag any photo onto any item, or select photos, press Move to, and pick another item or a new one.
Collections
Collections are folders for your items. They don't have a menu link yet, so go to listprelo.com/dashboard/collections. Press New Collection, give it a name, icon and colour, and press Create. Drag items onto a folder; folders can sit inside other folders, and anything you haven't filed waits under Uncategorized Items. Items you save from Scout, the price checker, go into a Sourcing collection.
Deleting a collection asks what happens to its items: move them to Uncategorized, or delete them for good.
