Connect Your AI Agent (Claude or ChatGPT) to Prelo

If you already use an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT, you can connect it to Prelo. Point it at a folder of item photos, ask it to build your listings, and the drafts land in Prelo for you to check. The shop in the video uses example data.

Where to find it

In Settings, open Connect your AI agent. Agent connections are part of the Pro plan; on other plans the tab shows an Upgrade to Pro button instead.

Connect it

• Claude: press Add to Claude. It copies your Prelo address and opens Claude's connector settings. Choose Add custom connector and paste it. The address is the same for every assistant.
• Claude Code: run the command shown once, then type /mcp and pick prelo to sign in.
• ChatGPT and other MCP assistants: use the same address. In ChatGPT, connectors are under Settings, Connectors. You may need to switch on Developer mode to see the add option.

Approve once

Your assistant sends you to Prelo to approve it. The page lists what it's asking for: upload photos and create draft listings, read your items, and act within your plan. Approve it. Your assistant never sees your password, and you can disconnect it any time from the same Settings tab.

What it can and can't do

Once connected, it can upload photos and create items, write each title, description and price, read and edit your items, tag an item with a SKU, rewrite a listing in a different style, and queue a cross-listing for you to finish.

It can't publish to eBay, can't put a listing live anywhere, and can't delete anything. Cross-listings wait for you to finish in the Prelo extension or the web app.

What it makes lands in Prelo as drafts with a title, description and price. Open each one, check it, and publish it yourself. On Pro, listings your assistant makes are part of your plan, within its fair-use limit.

Manage connections

Your connections lists each assistant, when you added it and when it was last used. Remove disconnects it, and its next request is refused. If your assistant says a Prelo ability is missing, remove the Prelo connector in your assistant and add it again so it picks up the latest list.

For tools that want a key instead of signing in, Advanced has Create connection key. Copy it straight away; it's only shown once. Treat it like a password.
