How to Find What to Flip with the Arbitrage Explorer

Not sure what to hunt for next? The Arbitrage Explorer in Prelo maps out a whole category, and can sweep your area for local deals. It's a Pro feature. The screens in the video use example data.

Open the Explorer

Open Deal alerts (Sourcing → Deal alerts), then press Arbitrage Explorer at the top of the page.

Pick a category. Prelo's AI lists about fifteen specific items, brand and model, that resellers commonly flip in it. Treat them as starting points for your own research.

Reading the table

The arbitrage score compares what an item sold for on eBay with the cheapest live listing. That needs eBay sold data, which Prelo is still getting access to. Until then, the score says thin data rather than making one up.

What you can use today is Cheapest live: the lowest-priced live eBay listing Prelo found for that item.

Watch and sweep

Watch turns a row into a standing deal alert on eBay and Facebook, with a 30% margin bar. It shows up in Deal alerts like any other watch.

Sweep my area is a one-time search of Facebook Marketplace near you. It runs through the Prelo Chrome extension, using your own Facebook session. Each row has its own Sweep button too.

The sweep bar sets how much estimated profit a find needs, after fees, to be kept: any margin, or at least $25, $50 or $100.

Results

Sweep results land in Deal alerts, marked Sweep and ranked by estimated profit. Sweeps don't send alerts, and you can run up to ten a day. From there it works like any watch: open it for its hits, Details and Bought it. The item you chose to Watch keeps scanning on its own.
